Protests: libs vs the good guys

I did a little Lexus-Nexus research, which turned up no stories about violence or vandalism from conservative or Republican protestors at the DNC in Boston last month. (And we all know that if there was any, it would have gotten as much coverage as the Abu Graib prison abuse scandal.) The only protest events of such kind in Boston were by libs even further to the left of the official DNC position, protesting against the war and against motor vehicles, for example.
Of note is that there has already been violence and vandalism by Bush-hating libs before the Republican convention begins:

Earlier yesterday [Aug. 27], parks workers discovered the Van Cortlandt Golf Course in the Bronx, where a few GOP delegates were to play yesterday, had been vandalized with anti-Bush messages. "Extensive damage" was done to holes 15 through 18 and slogans were spray-painted on the grass, parks officials said. Repairs will cost $6,000.

Another example, concerning Colin Powell's visit to the Olympics:
On Friday, riot police used tear gas to disperse hundreds of demonstrators who took part in a protest against the Powell visit. About 1,500 people who took part in the march were prevented from reaching the U.S. Embassy to protest Powell's trip.
........
Just hours before Powell was to arrive, Greece's Communist Party displayed a large banner at the site of the ancient Acropolis to protest his trip.
........
Greeks harbor anti-American feelings primarily over U.S. support of the 1967-74 military junta, which persecuted its leftist opponents.
Hmmm....Do I harbor anti-German feelings primarily over Nazi Germany's support of murduring innocent Jews in concentration camps?
Many Greeks also believe Washington ignores the concerns of smaller and weaker countries.
what about, oh, IRAQ?

Why is it that most violent/vandalism-prone protestors are liberals, and conservatives are generally peacefull and legal? Perhaps that conservatives simply let truth speak for itself, and don't require any attention-turning antics? Good grief, NYC has to give incentive to protestors to act peacefully? I sense something is out of whack. And it's not the conservatives.
