Idiot of the Day

The American singer and activist Harry Belafonte called President Bush "the greatest terrorist in the world" on Sunday and said millions of Americans support the socialist revolution of Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez.

Talk about an absolute moron. There is a distinct difference between criticism and legitimate policy disagreement, and ridiculous ad hominem attacks that advance no argument whatsoever and only serve to make one look like a fool. Reminds me of that old song, "Everybody plays the fool. No exception to the rule."

I guess this proves that age (Belafonte is 78) does not necessarily imply wisdom.
