"Scalito" is a racist term?
According to Drudge, the National Italian American Foundation is hacked that public officials and media figures have referred to Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito as "Scalito."
Huh?
Is "Scalito" related to race in any way whatsoever? I thought it was simply a term (derogatory or otherwise) to say that Alito lines up with Scalia concerning judicial philosphy. You know, sort of like calling Dick Durban "The Turban" because of his seemingly pro-terrorist views.
It's high time that people stop treating everything as racist.

I'll have to agree that "Scalito" is not racist. Apparently, they've been calling Alito that for years while he's been on the 3rd Cir. Too bad for the ultrasensitive that Alito admires Scalia and has a name which can be made into a good play on words.
