Not so much liberal bias as outright racist partisanship

I am completely flabbergasted by the depths to which the MSM will go. They will even doctor photographs to manipulate perceptions. Take a look at the difference between these two pictures of Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice.

The AP posted both--the doctored one on a USAToday site and the original on Yahoo's Spanish news site.

USAToday pulled a switcharoo on the pics, and put this editor's note at the top of the page:
Editor's note: The photo of Condoleezza Rice that originally accompanied this story was altered in a manner that did not meet USA TODAY's editorial standards. The photo has been replaced by a properly adjusted copy. Photos published online are routinely cropped for size and adjusted for brightness and sharpness to optimize their appearance. In this case, after sharpening the photo for clarity, the editor brightened a portion of Rice's face, giving her eyes an unnatural appearance. This resulted in a distortion of the original not in keeping with our editorial standards.
Bull. There is virtually no difference between the two pictures, except for the eyes--which look pretty demonic. This was not done on accident. For a more detailed case for why, go here. Whoever is responsible for this should be fired immediately. Not that I'm betting on it.
