Amicus ex schola

I hereby welcome Jenny, an intellectual and literary giant in our small high school class, to the blogroll. This girl changed my life when she translated my name into Tolkein's Elvish languages (or was that Gwen?) Oh well. Read Jenny at This or That.

Eh, Jenny, Gwen, it’s all the same.

Holy smokes, I’ve got my own post! I feel honored beyond all reason and when I read your entry I get this hilarious picture of a giant hairy monkey blimpy version of me squashing Topeka or something. :P Seriously though, uh, wow, thanks.

(By the way, the mention of physics makes it occur to me: to this day, Gwen and I still talk about ‘Musical Physics’ and I actually migrated the phenomenon to California, where we now sometimes have Musical Defense at soccer practice and/or Musical Laboratory. You really haven’t lived until you’ve sung about the efficient causes of chicken copulation, so thanks for brightening my life! Just thought I’d let you know. ;D)

Uh, please excuse the fact that the original version of the comment said 'squashing our physics teacher'. I deleted that part because it wasn't meant to be unkind, but then failed to remove the 'speaking of physics' bit from later. :P I = 'tarded. But racking up your comments, so, hey, it's okay!

Not to be unkind either [smirk], but just about anyone could have squashed our physics teacher, regardless of size or intellectual pedigree...

"Music Physics." Oh the good times!!! That's freaking hilarious. I am proud that our high school tradition lives on in the halls of Thomas Aquinas College...
