more from my liberal friend
This guy is absolutely nuts. He really does buy into all the Michael Moore, kook-fringe, hate-America leftist balderdash. (like that word?)
He sent me an article from the Mirror--which is too long to post here--and I responded with the following:
OK. We're going to do a little math lesson. Fractions. Let me describe the various parts of me that reacted differently to this article.
1/5 of me was angry because the article is loaded with more crap than a full-grown elephant.
1/5 of me was sad because you'd think that after this loss the Democrats would actually try and reach out to voters who obviously didn't identify with them, and look internally at their message and methods and ideology instead of going on a whiny, arrogant, profanity-spewing rampage against the "red" states.
1/5 of me was laughing because....well....we WON and it doesn't matter how much all the libs piss and moan about it--but I will not gloat.
1/5 of me relieved because, for the moment, there's no danger of what we would have gotten from Kerry: sucking up to that irresponsible, practically worthless, and definitely spinless worldwide organization--the U.N.; a lack of understanding of the true nature of the terrorist threat--even Europe is finally realizing that "tolerance" doesn't work with radical Islam; a rollback of taxes that were good for every single American--and even if the tax cuts were "for the rich," I don't care: that's still good for all of us; and I'll stop there.
and finally, 1/5 of me was thankful that no matter what happens in this world, good or bad, bloody or peacefully, civilized or uncivilized, by Democrats or by Republicans, this world is not where we will spend eternity!
And the best revelation of my day: at least I won't have to see liberals in heaven......just kidding. I'm sure there will be some liberals in heaven, but if any of them are in front of me in the line to Judgement (you know, where we have to answer for each of our sins), I might never get past those Pearly Gates......... :)
