My Firefox extensions

I love Firefox! There are piles of extensions that allow me to tailor the browser to my preferences. Here are the ones I use most and those I think are the coolest:

Lifesaving Essential Extensions
  • Mouse Gestures - execute every command imaginable with a simple click and movement of the mouse
  • SessionSaver - if your browser crashes, all your tabs are saved and you can recover them to exactly where they were before you crashed!!!!
  • UndoCloseTab - accidentally close a tab? this will restore the site and the placement within your other tabs!

Pretty Neat Extensions

  • FoxyTunes - control your music player from a small control bar in the status bar
  • ieView - allow you to open a page with Internet Explorer
  • Firefox View - allows you to open a link with Firefox from IE
  • ColorZilla - get the RGB and/or HTML code for any color on any webpage
  • Copy URL+ - copies to clipboard the document's URL and title
  • Translate - translate web pages and/or selected text to different languages
  • View Cookies - allows you to view all the cookies on a webpage
  • BugMeNot - bypass compulsory web registration with the context menu via www.bugmenot.com
  • FireFTP - ftp client for Firefox
  • MapIt! - maps a highlighted address using your favorite online mapping site
  • Cookie Toggle - toggle cookies on and off from the toolbar
  • Sage - a lightweight RSS and Atom feed aggregator

Other Extensions
  • Adblock - filters ads from webpages
  • Plain Text Links - Treat selected plain text urls as links, right click to open
  • Create Shortcut - creates a shortcut to the current page/link on the desktop
  • Image Zoom - adds zoom functionality for images
  • Launchy - opens links and mailto's with external applications
  • DictionarySearch - look up selected words in an online dictionary
  • OpenDownload - open any file from the internet into the OS assigned program
  • Super Bible Toolbar - an enhanced toolbar for searching Bibles online
  • Word Count - count words in selected text
