Another reason to dump the U.N.

I just found more evidence that the U.N. is becoming more like the League of Nations (aka "toothless tiger") every day: The worldwide body cannot condemn terrorism. Since close to 1/3 of member nations are in the Organization of the Islamic Conference (56 of 191), the U.N. will never unanimously condemn terrorism, since the OIC must leave open "nation liberation" as a cover, which is protected in another resolution. The final paragraph nails it on the head:

As long as the Islamic states resist any blanket condemnation of terrorism, we will remain a long way from ridding the Earth of its scourge. And the UN, in which they account for nearly one-third of the votes, will be helpless to bring us any closer.
