Silver lining?

Business Week:
Hurricane Katrina picked up several Gulf Coast casinos and hurled them hundreds of yards inland, crippling the region's gambling industry for months and potentially even years.
Jackson, Mississippi's Clarion-Ledger:
Damage to the 12 casinos along the Mississippi Gulf Coast still is being assessed, but early reports say it is severe.
Of course, any destruction is bad all-around, but for some reason my heart isn't wrenching because locals now have fewer opportunities to throw their money away.
