The Dr. of Democracy speaks truth again

[H]ere's a way for some of you in the Democratic Party, some of you liberals to understand exactly what has happened to you. It's the best I can come up with. George W. Bush is more popular than Bill Clinton ever was to the people of the United States of America. Now, I say this because the Democrats think that Clinton not only was their best president in modern times, but they think that he's the most popular, that America loved him, and the simple fact of the matter is: Where did Clinton go to help Kerry?

He went to Florida. Bush carried Florida. He went to Arkansas. Bush carried Arkansas. He went to Philadelphia, and Kerry was going to carry Philadelphia anyway no matter what Fast Eddie Rendell had to do there to make it happen. Clinton continues to hurt Democrats when he goes out, when it comes to their electoral chances. But if you're unwilling to accept the fact that George W. Bush is more popular in the country than Bill Clinton ever was then you as a Democrat have a chance to understand what you face and where you are. If you're unwilling to accept that, the days of darkness and despair are many in your future.
